Terms of service
Last updated 1 November 2026
These terms cover your use of Hop Hop Hop Dance. By generating a video you accept them.
What the service is
This site generates an eight-second vertical video in which the people in the photos you upload appear to perform the hop hop hop dance: a point at the camera, three hops, flattened palms and a hard cut. The movement is produced by AI from your still photos. The clip is silent by design — the trending sound is added inside TikTok, Reels or Shorts when you post. You need an account, you must be 18 or older, and the service is for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing. The output is a novelty clip: it is not a recording of the people in the photos and must not be presented as one.
The model behind the clip
Every video on this site is rendered by ByteDance Seedance 2.0 Mini, called through our inference partner YIR. It is a video generation model: your photos go in as reference images and the model synthesises the movement. We do not fine-tune it, we do not train it on your photos, and we do not swap it silently — if the model changes, this page and the spec table on the home page change with it.
Your content
Upload only photos of yourself, of adults who have agreed to appear, or of your own pet. You confirm this each time you generate, and you are responsible for the photos you upload and for how you use the result. When you post a video, label it as AI-generated using the platform's own label. The six categories we do not allow, how to report a video, and what happens after a report are set out under Acceptable use below.
Acceptable use
This section is the whole rulebook. It covers the photos you upload, the scene you pick, the video that comes back, and how you use it afterwards. An account that breaks it is suspended or closed, and credits left on a closed account are not refunded.
Six categories of prohibited content
1. Sexual and NSFW content
No nudity, no sexual acts, no fetish content, no sexually suggestive posing, and no framing whose point is to sexualise the person in the photo. This holds whether the person is clothed or not. Content that sexualises someone who did not consent to it is prohibited outright, and any sexual content involving a minor is handled under category 4.
2. Violence and gore
No graphic injury, blood, mutilation, dismemberment or dead bodies. No weapons pointed at a person, no torture, no animal cruelty, and nothing that celebrates, instructs or livestreams real violence. An eight-second dance clip has no legitimate use for a fight scene or a wound.
3. Hate speech and harassment
No content that attacks, dehumanises or demeans people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. No slurs, no hate-movement symbols, no coded references to them. No content made to bully, threaten or humiliate a specific person, including a person you know.
4. Child safety
Nothing involving a minor, in any form, ever. No photos of children. No school uniforms, playgrounds or child-coded settings used to suggest a child is in the clip. No ageing-down of an adult, and nothing a reasonable person would read as sexualising a minor. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and, where the law requires it, to the relevant law enforcement body, and we preserve the account and upload data needed for that report. We do not notify the account first.
5. Deepfakes and impersonation
No public figures — no celebrities, politicians, athletes, musicians or other well-known people, not even as parody or satire. No private person who has not agreed to appear. No clip built to make a real person appear to say or do something they did not say or do, and no clip presented as real footage of a real event. Every video you publish must carry the platform's AI-generated label.
6. Copyright and trademarks
No photo you do not own or have permission to use. No logos, brand marks, product packaging, copyrighted characters, film stills, album art or identifiable artwork placed in the frame. The trending sound is not part of the clip and we do not embed it: add it in TikTok, Reels or Shorts, where the platform holds the licence. Copyright complaints follow the process on the DMCA page.
Reporting a violation
Email support@aihophophopdance.com. Include the link to the video, which of the six categories it breaks, and your relationship to it — you appear in it, you own the work, or you are reporting for someone who does. Reports that a video uses your face without consent, and any report touching a minor, are treated as urgent and are read first. You do not need an account to report, and you do not need to be the person in the video to file one.
How we review and act on reports
Every report is read by a person. A first pass happens within 24 hours, and urgent reports — a minor, or a non-consensual likeness — are handled before anything else. We may ask you for more detail, and we may look at the reported video, the photos that produced it and the account that made it. If the report holds, we remove the video and suspend or close the account according to severity and history; a confirmed report about a minor or a non-consensual likeness closes the account on the first finding. We email the reporter the outcome and email the account holder what was removed and why. Each action is logged against the account so a repeat uploader is visible before the next report. If you believe we got it wrong, reply to that email and a second person reviews the decision. Reporting here does not limit your right to complain to a regulator, and copyright notices go through the DMCA page instead.
Credits and payments
Videos are paid for with credits bought in one-time packs. Waffo Pancake is the merchant of record: it handles the payment, the tax and the receipt, and its name appears on your statement. Prices are shown before you pay, and the credit cost of a video is shown on the generate button. Credits do not expire and are not transferable. A generation that fails returns its credits automatically. Refunds for unused credits follow the refund policy at /refunds. Chargebacks on delivered credits suspend the account until the amount is settled.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is. AI output is unpredictable: the people in the clip resemble the people in your photos but are not identical to them, hands and feet can go wrong, and the timing may not land exactly on the beat. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it. We may change these terms; the date at the top of the page shows the current version, and continuing to use the service accepts the change.
